No-Bake Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Balls
1/2 cup almond butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons maple syrup
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup maca powder
Mix almond butter, vanilla and maple syrup in a bowl til smooth. Add cacao powder and salt then mix. Place maca into a separate small bowl. Roll mixture into balls with a 1.5-2 inch diameter using hands, then coat balls with maca powder. You may end up using more or less maca powder than recipe dictates. Once balls are rolled, store in a container with a lid in the refrigerator for at least thirty minutes, then store or serve. Enjoy!
